Michael Awanayah is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer (MSc) with an MBA specialising in strategic planning. Based in Birmingham, UK, he is a seasoned business executive, entrepreneur, and the founder of a management consulting firm. With extensive experience across multiple industries and regions, Michael has held senior leadership roles in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and construction sectors, working across Africa and Europe.
His core expertise lies in business transformation, change and project management, and world-class manufacturing. In 2017, he served as General Manager of Geocycle UK, a subsidiary of LafargeHolcim, where he spearheaded industrial and municipal waste management initiatives.
Beyond his corporate achievements, Michael is deeply committed to health and well-being. A passionate squash player, he was forced to take a break from the sport in 2024 due to knee pain.
